The record belongs to the brand that collected it. Here is how it is kept, and the detail your security and legal teams will ask for is in the knowledge base.

The Four Commitments

  • Recorded, not modelled

Every figure is a physical event with a time on it, and every published number carries the date it was true.

  • Yours, not ours

The brand is the controller of its records. We process them under contract, with export and deletion on request.

  • No app, ever

A phone against a tag opens a page. Nothing to download, no account before anything happens.

  • Built to be checked

UK GDPR as a baseline, Advance tags that cannot be cloned, and a lost tag switched off from Core.

What People Ask

  • Who is the controller?

The brand, for the records collected in its own activation. We process them under contract, and a data processing agreement comes with every account.

  • Can a tag be copied?

Advance tags are signed on every tap, so a copy fails. Standard tags carry a link and are a way in, never a proof of ownership.

  • What if a tag is lost or moved?

Switch it off, or point it at a new page, from Core. Nothing on the tag needs to change.

  • What does a person see before anything is kept?

A page, in the browser, with consent asked for in plain words. Nothing is kept against a person who has not said yes.
