Pre programmed, encrypted, and ready out of the box. Passive, so there is no battery and nothing to charge.
Why ours
Not Just a Tag with a Link
Most tags hold a web address. Ours are locked, pointed and managed from Core, and Advance tags carry an identity that cannot be copied.
Signed on every tap
Advance tags sign each tap with a one time code, so a copied link or a cloned tag simply fails.
Locked once written
A locked tag cannot be overwritten or reprogrammed by anyone with a phone and an app.
Pointed from Core
Change what a tag opens, or the whole journey behind it, after it has shipped. The hardware never changes.
Switched off if lost
A lost or misused tag is disabled from Core in a moment, without recalling anything.
No personal data on the tag
A tag carries its own identity, never a person’s. Everything personal sits in the record, under consent.
Passive, and built to last
No battery and nothing to charge. Every modern phone reads it without an app.

A QR Code, a Generic Tag, a TapTech Tag
| Question | QR code | Generic NFC sticker | TapTech tag |
|---|---|---|---|
| Proves someone was there | No. A screenshot travels anywhere. | Partly. The link can be copied and shared. | Yes. Advance tags only open from the tag itself. |
| Can be copied | Trivially. | Often, with a free app. | Locked, and Advance tags are signed on every tap, so a copy fails. |
| Change it after printing | Only through a redirect you manage. | Rewrite each tag by hand. | From Core, for one tag or a whole batch. |
| Opens | A web address. | A web address. | Your Portal, with consent and a record behind it. |
| What you learn | A scan count. | Usually nothing. | Who arrived, where, when, and who came back. |

FAQs
Which tag is right for me?
The surface decides the format before anything else does. Metal needs a shielded tag, a garment needs one that survives a wash, and a wall outdoors needs resin. Tell us the surface and the quantity and we will tell you which one it is.
Does it need to charge?
No. A tag is passive: there is no battery, nothing to charge and nothing to fail. It takes the small amount of power it needs from the phone that touches it, which is why it works years after it was made and years after anyone thought about it.
How long will it last?
Tested to 100,000 tap cycles, and rated for fifty years. The limit in practice is the thing it is attached to rather than the tag: a sticker can be peeled off, a garment tag survives a wash, and resin is the one to reach for outdoors.
