Solutions · Retail · For retailers and brands with stores
A queue down the street.Nothing to show for it on Monday.
You already build the physical half of retail. A tag at the door and one per zone turns a launch into something you can measure and keep.

A Footfall Estimate Is Not an Audience
A brand partner funding an activation currently receives photographs and a footfall estimate, which makes it a marketing cost rather than a measurable placement.
The counter counts bodies. Nothing counts the people who chose to take part.
What you cannot answer today
- Who chose to take part
- Which part of the floor worked
- Who to invite to the next launch
What You Can Prove with TapTech
Presence, recorded at the moment it happens, with consent from the people who chose to take part.
- Who chose to take part
- A tap at the door and one per zone: people who opted in, not bodies through a counter.
- How the floor performed
- Taps by zone show how the space was walked, which is a merchandising answer.
- Which days build the list
- Launch night amplifies; the public days convert. Now you can see both.
- Who to call next time
- A named, consented audience for the next launch, kept by you.
What you could run
Launch in store
A product in a store or a window, and who came to see it. A tap walks people through 5 screens, each built from Portal Design Studio modules you can change.

What People Ask First
Would that work in my space?
Not everywhere, and metal is the usual problem. An ordinary tag will not read reliably on or near metal, and a tag behind thick timber gave us trouble once too. Both are solvable with a shielded on metal inlay, which costs more. Otherwise it has run on an enclosed retail floor, across a city, and in an open festival field. The loop did not change; the creative did.
Do people actually tap?
Only if you tell them what happens when they do. On a retail floor with staff and signage, seventy three per cent of taps became a registration. On a garment tag with nobody standing next to it, forty one per cent of taps became an entry. Where comprehension was left to chance, most sessions ended inside a minute. The mechanic is not the variable; the on ramp is.
Who owns the data?
You do, and we are the processor, which also means we cannot hand it to you in a form we do not hold. The brand is the controller of the records collected in its own activation. We process them under contract. In practice that means exports, deletion on request, and no arrangement where your audience quietly becomes ours.
