Everyone loved the activation.Nobody can prove it.
Put a tag at every moment of the build, and the room reports how it was actually walked rather than how the photographs make it look.

Photographs Are Not a Measurement
A brand funds the build and gets a recap film and a footfall estimate back. It looks good in the deck, and it answers none of the questions the next budget meeting will ask.
The recap shows the room. Nothing counts the people in it.
What you cannot answer today
- How the room was walked
- Which moment held people
- Who the partner actually reached
What You Can Prove with TapTech
Presence, recorded at the moment it happens, with consent from the people who chose to take part.
- How the room was walked
- A tag per moment, and near identical counts mean people moved through the whole build.
- Where attention held
- Completion and time in each zone, so the next build puts effort where it worked.
- Who took part
- Names and consent from the people who chose to play, not a footfall estimate.
- What the partner got
- A measurement pack for the brand that funded it, which is a reason to be chosen again.
What you could run
Run an activation
A room, an installation or a hunt, and proof of who came. A tap walks people through 5 screens, each built from Portal Design Studio modules you can change.

What People Ask First
Would that work in my space?
Not everywhere, and metal is the usual problem. An ordinary tag will not read reliably on or near metal, and a tag behind thick timber gave us trouble once too. Both are solvable with a shielded on metal inlay, which costs more. Otherwise it has run on an enclosed retail floor, across a city, and in an open festival field. The loop did not change; the creative did.
Do people actually tap?
Only if you tell them what happens when they do. On a retail floor with staff and signage, seventy three per cent of taps became a registration. On a garment tag with nobody standing next to it, forty one per cent of taps became an entry. Where comprehension was left to chance, most sessions ended inside a minute. The mechanic is not the variable; the on ramp is.
What happens after the campaign ends?
Nothing, unless someone decides to do something, and most people do not. A tag stays live and stays updatable. On one deployment, page views were still landing four months after the activation nominally ended. Pointing those tags at the next drop is a database change rather than a print run, which is the cheapest campaign anyone can run. It only works if it is somebody’s job to remember.
