The brief
One system for members booking space, agencies and brands hiring Studios 1 to 3, and the venue running all of it. We benchmarked twelve of the most relevant workspaces and members clubs across the UK, Europe and the US. Not one ran a single member record across access, payments, community and events. That gap was the brief.
One system, three faces
Member Portal
Application and vetting, tiered membership, studio booking against a token wallet, a catering wallet, event tickets and a tap to connect directory.
Production Portal
For agencies and brands: live session state, crew on site, time remaining, hospitality ordered to the floor, session history and spend.
Admin, in Core
Applications, access, bookings, token balances, kitchen orders and every session’s spend assembled for invoicing.
Hardware
Cards, wristbands and resin tags as each member’s key. One credential opens a door, books a room, buys a ticket and keeps one member record.
What we learned
The instinct is to digitise everything. We did not. A production client spending five figures on a shoot wants their account manager on the phone, so booking stays human and everything around it goes digital. We kept the Paxton access system already installed, settled payments straight to YOU through Stripe Connect, and used the readers already going into the walls for wayfinding.
The result
Phase 1 built against fixed September dates. Soft launch to a founding cohort on an open day model. Hardware in production, payments coming online, Phase 2 in scoping.
